FAR OUT NASHVILLE PRESENTS >>> BRETT NETSON / CLARKE & THE HIMSELFS / THE CHEWERS &&& GUNTHER DOUG
Our psychedelic basement collaboration with Bl_ank was a far out success, held at a word-of-mouth basement venue on the outskirts of Nashville known as The Mouth Hole and run by experimental grunge freaks The Chewers. Labrys Light show projected from the sidelines and local artist Lydia Kozar displayed her stunning art on a makeshift gallery wall, as her niece adorned the walls with a chalk gallery of her own, wearing a hand-drawn band shirt supporting Bl_ank.
Clarke & The Himselfs is a one-person whirlwind and blew the crowd away, a perfect opener for Brett Netson. Check out this super neat video by Clarke to see what we mean.
Brett Netson, also playing solo on this tour, mesmerized the crowd and drew them in close with his spellbinding drones and heavy riffs. Brett has worked in the past with heavy-hitters such as Earth and Built to Spill, and now releases music as Brett Netson & Snakes.
